84.5% of the respondents in the world： Chinese modernization provides a new reference for all countries.

　　China will comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese modernization, which has aroused great concern of the international community. Recently, CGTN think tank of China Central Radio and Television Station and the Institute of National Governance and Public Opinion Ecology of Renmin University of China jointly launched a public opinion survey covering 21 countries around the world. According to the survey, 84.5% of the global respondents believe that China’s modernization road has provided a new development path for other countries to learn from, and provided a Chinese plan for mankind to explore a better social system.

　　In recent years, China has made remarkable achievements in economic and social development, and most of the respondents spoke highly of these achievements: 92.6% of the respondents were deeply impressed by China’s economic achievements; 92.7% of the respondents believe that China has made great progress in science and technology; 72.7% of the respondents said that the cultural attraction of China is increasing day by day … … Respondents all over the world generally believe that these achievements have laid a solid foundation for China’s modernization.

　　In the survey, 89.8% of the global respondents agree with the concept of Chinese modernization, and its distinctive features are also widely recognized. For example, 91.3% of the respondents believe that modernization should pursue social equity and appreciate China’s efforts in achieving common prosperity; 84.3% of the respondents believe that "helping to realize personal value" is also very important. Although China has a large population, Chinese-style modernization strives to give everyone room to realize their own value; 74.4% of the respondents believe that modernization should not only solve material needs, but also consider people’s spiritual needs.

　　On the issue of modernization development model, China believes that there is no one-size-fits-all model in the world, 86.7% of the global respondents agree that modernization should conform to their national conditions, and 85.2% of the respondents believe that the road to modernization should be rooted in their excellent traditional culture.

　　According to the survey, 84.5% of the global respondents believe that China’s modernization road provides a new development path for other countries to learn from, and provides a Chinese plan for mankind to explore a better social system. Another 74% of the respondents expect China to share more valuable experiences. As for the opportunities brought by Chinese-style modernization to the world, the top three in respondents’ minds are: promoting world economic and trade cooperation, promoting world multi-polarization and multi-civilization, improving the world environment and promoting sustainable development.

　　The survey collected valid questionnaires from 2150 respondents from 21 countries around the world, including citizens from developed countries such as the United States, Britain, France, Spain and Australia, as well as people from developing countries such as Brazil, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and South Africa.
