　　Yuan Hua proposed to resign as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th Anhui Provincial People’s Congress and the chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee for being suspected of serious violation of discipline and law. According to the first paragraph of Article 32 of the Organic Law of Local People’s Congresses and Local People’s Governments at All Levels in People’s Republic of China (PRC), the third meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Anhui Province decided to accept Yuan Hua’s request to resign as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Anhui Province and the chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, and report it to the People’s Congress of Anhui Province for the record.
