According to Chongqing Medium-and Long-Term Railway Network Planning (2016-2030), on the basis of Chongqing North Railway Station, Chongqing West Railway Station, Chongqing Railway Station and Shapingba Railway Station, Chongqing East Railway Station will be newly laid out, Chongqing Railway Station reconstruction project will be implemented, Chongqing Railway Station functions will be adjusted, the hub connecting line from Chongqing East Railway Station to Chongqing Railway Station will be built, and a "three main and two auxiliary" passenger hub system will be constructed.

Chongqing Railway Station was completed and put into use in July, 1952, with 4 platforms and 7 platforms, and connected to Chongqing-Guizhou Railway, chengdu-chongqing railway Railway and Xiangyu Railway.
In November last year, the Railway Corporation organized a pre-feasibility study plan and a review meeting on the planning plan of Chongqing East Railway Station in Beijing, and put forward scientific, professional and reasonable suggestions on the planning and construction, project financing plan, construction scale, station setting and transportation organization of the supporting hub. In the future, the reconstruction of Chongqing Railway Station and the supporting comprehensive transportation hub project will be started.

Shapingba Station, as an important passenger station connecting Chongqing railway hub and Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway, started the capacity expansion and reconstruction project in 2012.
Yesterday (18th) evening, Chongqing Railway Station and Municipal Communications Commission released the Passenger Train Timetable from January 25th, including Chongqing West Railway Station and Shapingba Station. The "Train Timetable of Shapingba Station" in the Passenger Train Timetable shows that 10 pairs of Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed trains will run through Shapingba Station every day, and the departure time will last from 10 am to 8: 6 pm, and the trains will all end in Chengdu East.

Chongqing North Railway Station is a special station.
In 2003, the South Square of Chongqing North Railway Station was officially started. On October 22nd, 2006, the South Square of Chongqing North Railway Station was put into operation. In June 2012, the construction of the North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station started. On January 1, 2015, the first phase of the North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station was put into operation. The North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station mainly undertakes the operation of bullet trains, high-speed trains and a few ordinary trains, while the South Square undertakes the operation of other ordinary trains.

chongqingxi railway station

Chongqing West Railway Station is adjacent to the inner ring expressway Fengzhong Interchange in the east, the Zhongliangshan Mountains in the west, Huayan Tourist Scenic Area in the south and the West Ring Interchange of Chongqing-Kunming Expressway in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, 17 kilometers away from Chongqing North Station and 12 kilometers away from Chongqing Station.
As the starting and ending station of Chongqing-Guizhou Railway, Chongqing West Railway Station will be opened and put into use at the same time.
At the beginning, Chongqing-Guichang was opened, and the station was a passenger station, and the station level was a super-large high-speed railway station; Upon completion, it will undertake the business of Chongqing-Guizhou, Lanzhou-Chongqing, Chongqing-Kunming, Xiangyu and chengdu-chongqing railway, and will introduce Chongqing-Changchun Railway in the long term.
Departure directions: Luohuang, Qijiang, Ganshui, Tongzi, Loushanguan, Zunyi, Longkeng, Xifeng, Xiuwen, Guiyang and Chengdu.
Chongqing West Railway Station will operate 50.5 pairs of trains in the early stage and 79.5 pairs of trains in the later stage, involving Chongqing west to Guangzhou, Beijing, Kunming, Nanning, Changsha, Guiyang, Taiyuan, Qingdao, Liuzhou, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, Fuzhou and Urumqi.
In addition, the EMU from Chongqing West to Chongqing North will leave at 7: 19 am. The bullet trains from Chongqing North to Chongqing West leave at 8: 28 am and 11: 12 am respectively.

In November last year, the Railway Corporation organized a pre-feasibility study plan for the reconstruction project of Chongqing Railway Comprehensive Transportation Hub and a review meeting for the planning plan of Chongqing East Railway Station in Beijing. According to media reports, Chongqing East Railway Station is a comprehensive gateway hub with high-speed railway as the core, integrating long-distance buses, subways, buses, taxis, social vehicles and other modes of transportation. It is the largest passenger hub station in Southwest China and even China.
It is understood that Chongqing East Railway Station is a special station, with a designed maximum gathering number of 15,000 people and an annual transmission volume of 60 million people/time. According to the current layout plan of Chongqing East Railway Station, Chongqing East Railway Station has four parking lots in the long term, namely, Yuxiang, Yuxi, Yuda Intercity and Pusu (East Ring) Yards from west to east.
In the initial construction of the East Ring Road, it is planned to implement a general-speed parking lot, and build a bus preparation yard and locomotive depot matching with the general-speed parking lot, as well as the outer winding of trucks at both ends of Chongqing East Railway Station. In the future, the Chongqing-Hunan Passenger Special Session, the Chongqing-West Passenger Special Session and the Chongqing-Dalian Intercity Yard will be built in stages, and the motor train station supporting the high-speed rail yard will be implemented simultaneously.

Five railway stations "three main" and "two auxiliary"
"Three Main" Passenger Stations:
Chongqing North Railway Station: The layout of Yulichang, Yuwanchang and Intercity Yards, with 14 sets of 29 lines (26 platforms), has a receiving and dispatching capacity of 327 pairs/day.
Chongqing West Railway Station: Chongqing-Kunming Airport, Chongqing-Guizhou Airport and Lanzhou-Chongqing Airport are laid out, with 15 sets of 31 lines (29 platforms), with a receiving and departure capacity of 381 pairs/day.
Chongqing East Railway Station: The layout of Yuxiang Yard, Yuxi Yard and General Speed Yard, with 14 sets of 32 lines (31 platforms), has a receiving and dispatching capacity of 384 pairs/day.
"Two Auxiliary" Passenger Station
Chongqing Railway Station: As the intermediate station for trains running through Xiamen-Chongqing and Yanjiang, it undertakes the starting and ending functions of Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway and some trains in chengdu-chongqing railway. It is equipped with four 8-line trains (9 platforms) with a receiving and departure capacity of 120 pairs/day.
Shapingba Station: During the transition period before the renovation and expansion project of Chongqing Station is completed, it will undertake the function of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway, set up five 7-line trains, and have a receiving and dispatching capacity of 56 pairs/day; After the completion of the reconstruction and expansion project, it will serve as an intermediate station.

Shapingba Railway Station will become the platform for the first high-speed railway station in China to build an urban complex.
Above the Shapingba Railway Station, which is about to be put into use, a 480,000-square-meter commercial format is springing up.
"This commercial format with an investment of 5 billion yuan will exceed the area of the Three Gorges Square Pedestrian Street now." The staff of Shapingba District Government said that with the completion of the project, Shapingba Railway Station will become the platform for the first high-speed rail station to build an urban complex in China.
When you get off the high-speed train, you can go directly to the super-large shopping mall. When you are tired of shopping, a few steps away is a beautiful park with trees and sparkling lakes. In the near future, such a leisure way will become a reality in Shapingba District.
The staff said that Shapingba Railway Integrated Transportation Hub Project is the first project in China to build an urban complex on a high-speed railway station. The project mainly includes the renovation of high-speed railway station’s houses and stations, urban rail transit project, integrated transportation hub project, urban road renovation and superstructure property development. By then, citizens can realize zero transfer of high-speed rail, rail transit, public transportation, taxis and other transportation here.
The project is built for Longhu. According to the person in charge of Longhu, the total construction scale is 480,000 square meters, including about 220,000 square meters of commerce, about 260,000 square meters of commercial towers and office buildings, of which the commercial construction is self-sustaining and operates Longhu Tianjie, about 140,000 square meters. The project is expected to open in 2020.
After the high-speed railway station in Shapingba is stamped, the area of the Three Gorges Square business circle will be expanded to 0.74 square kilometers. The staff of Shapingba District said that the contiguous effect after stamping will promote the further expansion of the business circle in the sand area. The sand area will also develop high-end service industry, five-star hotels and high-end office buildings in the future.
The ground is a huge commercial complex, so what about the underground? The staff said, "There are seven floors underground in the stamped railway station area. The first floor runs buses and the second floor runs taxis. In the future, all vehicles will pass through the ground, which truly realizes the diversion of people and vehicles."
