Professional counterfeiters sued brand toothpaste for false propaganda and demanded compensation and apology.

Brush your teeth and brush out the lawsuit. Zhonghua, Colgate, Tianqi, Lantian Liubizhi, Kangzhiling and Bamboo Salt Toothpaste are on the list.

Claim compensation and apologize for alleged fraud. Counterfeiters sue 6 brands of toothpaste.

"Whitening teeth, refreshing breath and preventing tooth decay"-this is the slogan of the efficacy of many toothpaste products, but professional counterfeiter Wang Hualin is more serious about it.

Wang Hualin sued six toothpaste manufacturers, including Colgate, Liubizhi and Zhonghua, for alleged fraud.

This morning, the case was heard in public in the Shijingshan court.

At 9 o’clock this morning, the plaintiff, Wang Hualin, came to the court alone. There were several agents sitting in the dock, and Wang Hualin actively responded to the lawsuit.

"Suggesting that toothpaste has a therapeutic effect is fraud." Wang Hualin said in court that he believed that the six brands of toothpaste involved in the case were fraudulent in publicity, so he asked the manufacturers of these brands to apologize and compensate for the losses.

"According to clinical verification, these functions of Chinese toothpaste exist and there are no quality problems." The agent of the defendant Zhonghua toothpaste manufacturer said in court.

The agent said that according to everyone’s different living habits, eating habits, toothbrush choices and even different brushing methods, the efficacy of toothpaste may be different. "In real life, no one will use toothpaste as a medicine." The agent said.

In addition, the agent of Colgate Toothpaste Factory pointed out: "The plaintiff is not a consumer as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Law, and his purpose of buying toothpaste is only for the purpose of litigation and claim, which is out of professional needs rather than life needs."

The agent said that he did not think the plaintiff was qualified to file a lawsuit and claim compensation according to the Consumer Protection Law.

In court, all the agents of the defendant brand toothpaste claimed that there was no fraud in the promotion of their toothpaste.

They said that the products involved had been clinically verified and all had the efficacy included in the publicity, so they all demanded that the plaintiff’s claim be rejected.

As of press time, Wang Hualin withdrew the lawsuit against Blue Sky Six Bizhi because the brand apologized to it before the trial.
